The Secretary's Office will open from 8.30am on show days

Entry Fee to all Classes £6.00 (except where stated) Non Members £1.00 extra per class

Rosettes to 6th place - except where stated All Riders ages taken as at 1st January 2011

First Aid
A fee of £2.00 per competitor will be charged to cover the costs of First Aid Cover at these Shows

Membership (runs to 31st March 2012)
Members must have competed at a minimum of 4 shows to qualify for the End of Season Awards
Junior & Senior Membership - £10 per annum
There will be a separate awards evening for the Winter Programme
Important
Riders on the Lead Rein will not be allowed to compete off the Lead Rein in any Class on the same day (except where stated)
Ponies and Horses may only be ridden by one rider in any class

Health & Safety
The onus is on all riders who suffer a fall, or anybody who suffers an injury whilst on the showground, to report the fall/injury to the First Aid personnel in attendance that day

Netley Hall is approx 1 mile from the A49 at Dorrington, which is approx 10 minutes south of Shrewsbury, please follow show signs and not Sat Nav when getting into Dorrington

Where a Double Bridle is used, the judges will take into account the effectiveness and use of the Double Bridle

Open to all Riders, Horses & Ponies, Riders not to have won to won 3 x 1sts in any Best Rider Classes up to 1st April 2011
 Riders in this Class cannot enter Class B6 - Awards will be made separately if entries warrant
CLASS B4. NATIONAL BEST RIDER CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
Open to all Riders, Lead Rein, 12 yrs & under, Junior & Senior

CLASS B5 NATIONAL BEST FIRST RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
Riders 10 Yrs & under, Ponies 13.2hh & under, Ponies should be shown in a snaffle bridle.

CLASS B6. NATIONAL NOVICE RIDING PONY OR HORSE CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER

Open to all Horse and Ponies, will be judged on suitability and manners and should be ridden by an Adult and Child from the same family
CLASS B16  NATIONAL SHOW HUNTER PONY CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
Open to all Riders, Lead Rein, 12 yrs & under, Junior & Senior
Awards will be made separately if entries warrant
CLASS B17  NATIONAL YOUNG SHOW HANDLER CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
If numbers warrant, this class will be split into age groups - a) 12yrs & under, b) 13yrs - 16yrs

The first two placed riders from classes with junior sections will then be judged for the Junior Show Championship
The first two placed riders from Classes with Lead Rein sections will then be judged for the Lead Rein Show Championship
Handlers from Class B15 go to the In Hand Ring to be judged for the In Hand Championship
The Champion and Reserve Champion will go forward to be judged for the

RING C      WORKING HUNTER      START 10.00AM
The following classes are open to Riders of any age, except where stated
Ponies and Horses may shown in any suitable bit (no bitless bridles for ponies though)
In Classes C1, C4-C7 if numbers warrant, awards will be made separately to Horses & Ponies
CLASS C1 NATIONAL BEST HORSE / PONY OF RIDING CLUB / PONY CLUB TYPE CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
This class is open to Riders of any age, Horses or Ponies        Horses to be ridden by Riders 13yrs & Over
Competitors may be asked to jump a short course of small jumps
CLASS C2 NATIONAL WORKING HUNTER 1’9” CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
Section a) Horses - also to qualify for the National Championships Very Novice Class where eligible
Section b) Ponies 14.2hh & under, Riders 16yrs & under
Riders on the Lead Rein will be allowed to compete in this class.      Novice Riders may be assisted
CLASS C3 NATIONAL WORKING HUNTER 2’0” CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
Section a) Horses - also to qualify for the National Championships Very Novice Class where eligible
Section b) Ponies 14.2hh & under, Riders 16yrs & under

The first two placed in Classes C2 – C7 will then be judged for the Working Hunter Championship
The first two placed in Class C1 will join Ring D for the Ridden Show Championship

Those competing in this ring will not be allowed to compete in Ring A

We will send dressage times to all e-mail entries on the Thursday afternoon (approx 5pm) before the show.

Please note that for 2011, if you do not ring up for your times, you may be considered to have withdrawn, and your place given to someone else, in this instance, there will be no refunds.

If you enter, but do not pay your entry and do not turn up, for whatever reason you will be reported to the Midland Association of Riding Clubs, this may result in other Association Club & Show members not accepting any future entries from yourself

General Rules
1. Dogs must be kept on the lead at all times
2. The area around the main house is out of bounds to all
3. The Rules of Midarc are applicable for all SHS Shows, these may be viewed on their web site at www.midarc.co.uk
4. No mucking out of lorries on the showground
5. Hard hats to BSI standard should be worn at all tiems when mounted
6. All Riders should have their own personal accident insurance, and public liability cover for the horse or pony. Accidents involvings Horses or Ponies are not generally covered by any show or event insurance.
7. Lead Rein Riders- Lead Rein Riders may only compete in Lead Rein, First Ridden & Tiny Tots Best Rider Classes.
No Child under the age of 3 years will be allowed to compete except for Lead Rein Turnout
8. Pony and Horse Measurements
Ponies are 14.2hh & Under, except where the class restrictions differ, and may not compete in any Horse Showjumping Competition. Horses are over 14.2hh.
