All shows are open to Members & Non-Members.                                                 **Only members to qualify at first show – Points only awarded to members**

 

Hats that conform to British & European safety standards & must be worn & correctly fastened at all times when mounted. Juniors must also wear one when taking part In-Hand  and they are strongly recommended for seniors competing  In-Hand. No spurs or schooling whips in any class. All ages as at 1st Jan 2009.

RING  ONE – Commencing 10am - Ridden Ring

 

Class 1 – Best Turned Out - Rider Any Age

 

Class 2 – Lead Rein Equitation – Snaffle Bridle to be attached to    noseband. Riders under 8 years as 1st Jan 2009

 

Class 3 -  Have a Go Off Lead Rein –pony NOT exceeding 12.2 – riders cannot take part on any other class off lead rein. Rider 8 years and under.

 

*Class 4 – Junior Absolute Beginners Equitation - Snaffle Bridle. To be judged on the rider. Rider not to have won a 1st in Equitation before 1st Jan 09. Competitors to be aged between 9 & 16 yrs at 1st Jan 2009.

 

*Class 5 - Senior Absolute Beginners Equitation - Snaffle Bridle. Rider not to have been placed 1st in any Equitation class before 1st Jan 2009

Competitor to be 17 & over at 1st Jan 2009

* Competitors in classes 3, 4 & 5 may not take part in classes 6 - 9

 

Class 6 – Equitation 12 years & under. Snaffle Bridle Only.

 

Class 7 – Equitation 13-15 years. Snaffle Bridle Only.

 

Class 8 – Equitation 16 – 20 years. Snaffle Bridle Only.

 

Class 9 – Equitation Over 21 years. Snaffle Bridle Only.

*Class 40- Have A Go Working Hunter. Any height or type. Combination not to have won 1st or 2nd in any WH class as at 1st Jan 2009. 1ft.3. May not take part in class 42 or 43.

This class does not qualify for any championships.

 

*Class  41-  SDRC Novice Working Hunter.  Any Height or type. Combination not to have been places 1st  in any working hunter classes before 1st Jan 2009.  Jumps Max 2ft.

This class does not qualify for any championships.

 

*Class 42- SDRC Intermediate Working Hunter. Any Height or type.  Jumps Max 2’6”.

Combinations in this class must NOT have taken part in class 40

 

*Class 43- Open  Working Hunter . Any Height or type.

Jumps  Max 3ft

*Class 49 -  Beginners Pony – 30cm. Combination may also take part in Class 51 Novice.

 

*Class 50-  Beginners Horse – 30cm.Combination may also take part in Class 52 Novice.

                        

*Class 51 -Novice Pony – 50cm. May also take part in Class 53 Intermediate  if not been in the Beginners Class 49.
