All Classes in this Schedule are qualifiers for the
Midarc 2009/2010 Winter Championships, 13th - 14th March 2010
at Rodbaston College, Penkridge, Staffs

Rosettes to 6th place
Ages for Riders and Horses / Ponies are as from 1st September 2009

Important
The Rules of the Midland Association of Riding Clubs applies in all cases,
it is important that you check the rules for the classes you are entering

All Classes will take place in the Indoor or Covered Arena
Start 10.00am prompt - Ridden Showing - Ring A

Class 1             Midland Open Turnout Championship Qualifier
Open to all Riders, Horses and Ponies.
1st rosette will go to the winner of each category, Lead Rein, Junior, M&M, Senior etc, and the relevant qualifying certificates issued
Class 2             Midland Senior Novice Rider Championship Qualifier
Open to Riders 17yrs & over that have not won 3 1sts in any Senior Rider Classes up to 1st September 2009.
Horses & Ponies must be ridden in a snaffle for all Novice Competitions
Class 3             Midland Senior Rider Championship Qualifier
Open to Riders 17yrs & over
Class 4             Midland Novice Riding Horse Championship Qualifier
Open to Riders 13yrs & over, horses over 14.2hh and not to have won 3 1sts in any Riding Horse Classes up to 1st September 2009
Class 5             Midland Riding Horse Championship Qualifier
Open to Riders 13yrs & over, Horses over 14.2hh
Class 6             Midland Ridden Hunter Championship Qualifier
Open to Riders 13yrs & over, Horses over 14.2hh
Class7              Midland Ridden Large Mountain & Moorland Championship Qualifier
Class 8             Midland Ridden Cob Championship Qualifier
Open to traditional or show, maybe shown in natural state or hogged and trimmed
Class 9             Midland Coloured and Spotted Horse Championship Qualifier
Open to riders 13yrs & over, horses over 14.2hh
Class10            Midland Ridden Veteran Horse Championship
Open to riders 13yrs & over, horses over 14.2hh

The first two in each of the above classes will then come forward to be judged for the Ring A Ridden Championship

Class 11           Midland In Hand Best Turnout Championship Qualifier
Class 12           Midland Welsh Breeds Championship Qualifier
If numbers warrant we will split this class
Class 13           Midland Mountain & Moorland Championship Qualifier
Class 14           Midland Coloured & Spotted Championship Qualifier
Class 15           Midland Veteran Horse or Pony Championship Qualifier
Class 16           Best Shetland – any age
Class 17           Best Driving Type
Class 18           Midland All Breeds Youngstock Championship - 3yrs & under Qualifier
Class 19           Midland All Breeds Mature Championship - 4yrs & over Qualifier
Class 20           Midland Woolies & Hairies Championship Qualifier

Open to all Horses & Ponies

Class 21           Best In Hand Mare – any age
Class 22           Best In Hand Gelding – any age

Class 23           Midland Best Handler Championship Qualifier
If numbers warrant we will split this class

The first two in each of the above classes will then come forward to be judged for the Ring B
In Hand Championship

Start 10.30am prompt - Ridden Showing - Ring C

Class 24           Midland Best Lead Rein Rider Championship Qualifier
Riders 8yrs & under, ponies 12.2hh & under, Lead Rein to be attached to cavesson noseband
Class 25           Midland Novice Junior Rider Championship Qualifier
Open to Riders 16yrs & under that have not won 3 1sts in any Junior Rider Classes up to 1st September 2009.
Ponies must be ridden in a snaffle for all Novice Competitions
Class 26           Midland Junior Rider Championship Qualifier
Riders 16yrs & under, ponies 14.2hh & under
Class 27           Midland Tiny Tots Best Rider Championship Qualifier

Class 34.          Midland Show Hunter Pony Championship Qualifier
Riders 16yrs & under, ponies 14.2hh & under
Class 35           Midland Veteran Pony Championship Qualifier
Ponies 14.2hh & under
Class 36           Midland Ridden Small Mountain & Moorland Championship Qualifier
Class 37           Junior Equitation

To be judged on suitability, manners and show


The first two in each of the above classes will then come forward to be judged for the Ring C Ridden Championship

At the end of the day the first two placed from each Championship will be judged for the
Supreme Show Champion

Entry fees to all Classes £7 Non Members £1 per class extra
There is a charge of £1 per competitor to help cover the cost of First Aid
