First Aid
A fee of £1.00 per competitor will be charged to cover the costs of First Aid Cover at these Shows

Membership
Being a member means you are competing for the end of year awards
Members must have competed at a minimum of 4 shows to qualify for the End of Season Awards

Junior & Senior Membership - £10 per annum
Family Membership (up to 4 family members) - £25 per annum

Important
Riders on the Lead Rein will not be allowed to compete off the Lead Rein in any Class on the same day
(except where stated) Ponies and Horses may only be ridden by one rider in any class

Health & Safety
The onus is on every rider who suffers a fall, or anybody who suffers an injury whilst on the showground,
to report the fall/injury to the First Aid personnel in attendance on the showground that day

Stanley Park is about 1.5miles from Bridgnorth on the B4373 to Broseley, the showground is signed.
Stanley Park is a private estate allowing us to have a large showground (over 47 acres)
with plenty of room for everyone, and most important plenty of parking.

Refreshments, Saddlery, Portable Toilets, First Aid also Photographer & Embroiderer on selected dates

Stanley Park is organised by Shropshire Horse Shows, a member of the Midland Association of Riding Clubs

Shropshire Horse Shows are insured for both Public and Employers Liability

Points Scoring for End of Season Awards

Horse / Pony & Rider Combination not to have scored more than 65% in any Qualifying Walk & Trot Dressage Competition.
Once this score has been achieved, the Horse / Pony & Rider
combination will still be allowed to compete at the Championships in this Class, but the following year, the combination must compete at a higher level

Entry Fee £8 on the day only
£5 of each entry fee goes into the prize fund - prizes awarded as follows
50% of prize fund to the winner, 30% to 2nd, 20% to 3rd
“Competitors will be required to give a short show consisting of a 3 loop serpentine in trot : 20m circle in canter: extended trot across diagonal :
canter to include change of rein at x : free walk on long rein and halt . This phase is marked out of 50 (10 for each movement)
A further mark is then given out of 30 for conformation, and 20 for the Riders style. Movements may be performed in any order that the rider chooses”,
but you will be judged on your first attempt at each movement, eg; if you perform the same movement twice you will be judged only
on the first attempt even if the second attempt is better.
Time Limit of 2 mins per competitor - This class will run until 4pm, riders may compete at any time during that period to suit their classes entered

within 24hrs it means we haven’t received it.
We will send dressage times to all e-mail entries on the Thursday afternoon (approx 5pm) before the show. Please acknowledge safe receipt of this e-mail

Please note that for 2009, if you do not ring up for your times, you may be
considered to have withdrawn, and your place given to someone else,
in this instance, there will be no refunds.

If you enter, but do not pay your entry and do not turn up, for whatever reason you will be reported to the Midland Association of Riding Clubs, this may result in other Association Club & Show members not accepting any future entries from yourself
